ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The S1 uses integrated multi-modal sensors within its motors and joints to detect your movement intent, force trends, and body posture in real time. This data is processed within milliseconds by its embedded chip and intelligent algorithms, which instantly command the motors to deliver synchronized assistive force. It doesn’t simply push you forward — it understands your movement and assists in harmony, making your motion easier, steadier, and more enduring.
WHAT MAKES THE S1 FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT FROM REGULAR ELECTRIC ASSIST DEVICES?
The key difference is intelligent following rather than passive output. Traditional assistive devices provide fixed or rule-based power. The S1, however, detects your movement intent and synchronizes its force with yours. It increases assist during climbs or bursts of effort and softens support when you slow down. This shifts from passive assistance to intent understanding + collaborative force, achieving true human-machine integration.
HOW LONG IS THE BATTERY LIFE? HOW LONG DOES CHARGING TAKE?
In typical mixed-use scenarios (such as climbing combined with flat-ground walking), the system lasts approximately 4 hours per charge. With fast-charging, it reaches full capacity in about 2.5 hours. The battery is lightweight, removable, and easy to swap for extended or all-day use.
HOW DOES THE SYSTEM AVOID DELIVERING INCORRECT ASSISTANCE AND CAUSING DANGER?
Safety is ensured through multi-sensor cross-validation. Assistive force is only activated when the EMG “intent,” torque-based “actual force,” and IMU “posture data” all align. Any mismatch or abnormal signal triggers protective logic that reduces or halts assistance, ensuring user safety in all conditions.
HOW DO INTELLIGENT ALGORITHMS IMPROVE MY MOVEMENT EXPERIENCE?
The system continuously learns your movement patterns—force rhythm, gait characteristics, and acceleration trends. It dynamically refines its assistance strategy to make your motion smoother, more efficient, and less fatiguing. Beyond physical support, it helps you develop more efficient and healthier movement habits over time.
